Mercedes - Benz Automobile Vietnam x Hà Mạnh Thắng & Lê Tuấn Ry

Dành cho sự kiện lần này, tôi mang tới triển lãm Mercedes-Benz tám tác phẩm từ triển lãm cá nhân gần đây nhất của tôi mang tên “Cảnh Mộng.” Các tác phẩm thuộc series “Đối Ảnh”, được lấy cảm hứng từ thi ca cổ.
Hình ảnh và không gian trong thi ca cổ là nguồn dẫn hứng cho các sáng tác của tôi trong một thập kỷ trở lại đây, giúp tôi cảm nhận rõ nét yếu tố phi thời gian, sự vô tận và xuyên thấu của không gian và sự trường tồn.
Cổ thi là nơi vẻ đẹp của sự huyền bí và diễm lệ cuối cùng còn sót lại, nhờ những khả năng chuyển tải kỳ diệu của ngôn từ. Cổ thi là nơi chúng ta vượt qua mọi ngăn cách của thời gian, đạt đến trạng thái tuyệt đối duy nhất, mà tôi mong muốn được nhìn thấy trong tác phẩm của mình.
Với tám tác phẩm dành cho sự kiện lần này, với niềm tin cá nhân, tôi luôn tin rằng, nghệ thuật là một cách giúp tôi kết nối giữa lịch sử, thời gian và kí ức.
Kết hợp triển lãm với Mercedes-Benz, tôi mong muốn tìm thấy sự đối thoại và tri nhận giữa một lịch sử đồ sộ của ngành công nghiệp xe hơi phương Tây - đó là Mercedes-Benz, với tính huyền bí của văn hoá Á Đông - thông qua các tác phẩm được giới thiệu lần này của mình. Qua đó, để tìm thấy một cơ hội mà cả hai cùng được đối thoại và khám phá lẫn nhau, dù bất kể là dưới góc độ nào.

For this event, I brought to the Mercedes-Benz exhibition eight works from my most recent solo exhibition titled “Ethereal Places.” These works come from an ongoing series titled “The Reflection”, which is inspired by ancient poetry.
The visual elements in ancient poetry have served as a source of inspiration for my works over the past decade, allowing me to clearly feel the endlessness of time, the expansiveness of space, and the sense of eternity throughout life.
Ancient poetry is the last remaining stronghold for mysterious beauty and splendor, conveyed through the magic of words. It is where we overcome all barriers of time to reach a unique absolute state, of which I hope to witness in my work.
It is my personal belief that, through the eight works in this event in particular and my artistic practice in general, I will be able to bridge the connections between history, time and memory.
Collaborating with Mercedes-Benz in this exhibition, I hope to generate a reciprocal dialogue between the massive history of Western automobile industry - signified through Mercedes-Benz, and the mystery of Asian culture - manifested in my works on display. Hopefully, this will turn into an opportunity for two sides to enter a conversation and explore one another from multiple angles
